Research is at the heart of ORWH’s mission. With the adoption of the NIH Sex as a Biological Variable (SABV) policy in 2016, as well as increased interest in sex- and gender-related influences on health, ORWH has expanded its efforts to integrate the study of sex and gender into the research process. In this section you will find resources for biomedical researchers and clinicians related to both the study of sex effects and the application of research findings in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Check back often for new tools and resources designed to help women reach their full health potential.
