Zero Emissions Airport Vehicles and Infrastructure Pilot

The FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012 created a new Zero Emissions Airport Vehicles and Infrastructure Pilot Program. This Pilot Program allows the FAA to award Airport Improvement Program (AIP) funds for the acquisition of zero emissions vehicles at an airport and for making infrastructure changes to facilitate the delivery of energy necessary for the use of these vehicles.

Technical Guidance

The Technical Guidance document provides the details on vehicle eligibility, allowable vehicle use, eligible airports, grant funding limitations, and the application process.
