Briefly

David Olson is an agricultural economist with the Crops Branch of USDA’s Economic Research Service.  He is a contributor to the Feedgrains and the Sugar & Sweeteners outlook programs, with a focus on industrial uses for these commodities.  

Background

Prior to joining ERS, David worked as a Research Assistant with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) at Michigan State University.

Education

David earned his M.S. degree in Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics at Michigan State University.

Professional Affiliations

David is a member of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA).
