Daniel Glenn

Danny Glenn joined the IAF in June 2011 after serving as a contractor for the Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) at the Pentagon, where he worked in the Server Management Division on the Operations and Security teams managing over 1,500 servers and 10,000 users. Prior to contracting at the HQDA, Danny worked for an IT company in Virginia installing and maintaining IT systems for small businesses. Danny is a military veteran who served in the U.S. Army from 1998–2005. During his military tenure he was stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC, where he enjoyed jumping from planes and helicopters; Ft. Gordon, GA, where he was an instructor for the Signal Officer Basic Course; and Camp Humphries Korea, where he led field missions for installing telecom and IT equipment for various military units. Danny oversees the IAF’s IT contracts and works directly with contractors to maintain and improve the foundation’s security posture. He has a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Security from ITT Technical Institute and certifications in Microsoft and Security +. When he’s not at work he spends the bulk of his time with his wife and four children at family-friendly events in areas between Washington, DC and his hometown of Richmond, VA.
