Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Supreme Court Fellows Commission has decided not to appoint a 2021-22 class of Fellows. We anticipate resuming our recruitment cycle in late summer 2021 for selection of a class that will begin service in August or September 2022. Please contact us with any questions.
About the Fellowships
We place Fellows at the Supreme Court of the United States, the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, the Federal Judicial Center, and the U.S. Sentencing Commission. Explore the four different fellowship placements and the special activities that are part of the year-long experience.
How to Apply
We invite applications from high-achieving, committed professionals seeking to broaden their understanding of judicial administration, policy development, and education. Review the list of qualifications and application requirements, learn about the selection process, and apply to become a Fellow. Applications are accepted annually from mid-summer through early November.

The Commission
The Supreme Court Fellows Commission, appointed by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., oversees the program and selects the Fellows each year.
