LEPE Press

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard for quality management systems.

We understand that consistently high-quality products can only come from high-quality processes. High-quality products come from organizations that foster a culture in which systems and process refinement are valued.  BEP has demonstrated its commitment to this culture by meeting the regulatory requirements and applying the system effectively.

About ISO

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) maintains ISO 9000, an internationally recognized standard of quality management systems, and methods for attaining those standards. To be certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, BEP demonstrated to independent auditors that its internal quality management system includes:

  • Clearly stated quality objectives
  • Defined processes and procedures for pursuing those objectives
  • Systems to document performance
  • Uniform review of performance against objectives
  • Periodic review of the quality system itself
  • A codified pursuit of continual improvement

As an ISO 9001 certified organization, BEP has implemented Quality Management System requirements for all areas of the business, including:

  • Facilities
  • People
  • Training
  • Services
  • Equipment

ISO 9001 Certification is the first step of a process of continual improvement as we aspire to meet and exceed the goals set in our Quality Management System.
