Postdoctoral Researcher, Department of Radiology, Johns Hopkins University

A 3-year post-doctoral position in a laboratory research program on targeted alpha-particle emitter therapy of cancer is available in the Department of Radiology at The Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine. Candidates with an interest in translational research and a background in radiochemistry/organic or inorganic chemistry, radiobiology/molecular biology/biochemistry, and/or radionuclide physics/dosimetry are encouraged to apply. The project involves the development and application of in vitro and in vivo models for investigating and optimizing novel strategies for the clinical implementation of targeted alpha-particle emitter therapy of cancer.

DOE Isotope Program - General Engineer/Physical Scientist - Program Manager for Stable Isotopes (Germantown, Maryland)

The Program Manager for Stable Isotopes will provide program management and coordination of the production and distribution of stable isotopes at isotope production facilities and from inventory, including but not limited to management issues, strategic planning, budget formulation, cost-effectiveness of operations, performance, and development and oversight of isotope production facilities’ projects.  The Program Manager for Stable Isotopes will also be responsible for overseeing the development and optimization of enriched stable isotope technology. The incumbent will act as a recognized scientific authority and expert in stable isotopes, isotope enrichment technology, and as such has the responsibility to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate research and technical programs in this field on a national and international level.
