DCSA Locations: Most of our activities are performed at our headquarters, located at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., which is approximately 40 miles south of Washington, D.C. We have four regional offices, 45 field offices across the nation, and the Center for Development of Security Excellence in Linthicum, Md.

The bulk of our workforce consists of Industrial Security Specialists, who conduct security assessments of cleared industry facilities to ensure they comply with the standards of the National Industrial Security Program. However, we also hire Counterintelligence Professionals, Information System Security Professionals, Business and Risk Management Specialists, Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence Professionals, Personnel Security Specialists, and Education, Training, and Instructional Systems Specialists.

All of our positions are covered under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) and are in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601.
