Organization

NTP is an interagency program composed of, and supported by, three government agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services:

The NIEHS Director also serves as the director of NTP. The Director reports to the Assistant Secretary for Health, and receives regular input from various external groups. Rick Woychik, Ph.D., is the NIEHS and NTP Director; Brian Berridge, D.V.M., Ph.D., is NTP Associate Director and Scientific Director of the Division of the National Toxicology Program at NIEHS.
