Partnerships

Partnerships are vital to the Northern Research Station’s success in generating and delivering scientific information. These partnerships include scientific collaboration, sharing our laboratories and facilities, and funding “requests for proposals” on high-priority topics such as oil and gas management, gypsy moth, and urban sustainability. We also engage stakeholders through on-going dialogue and user’s groups.

More than 190 different organizations work with us through formal grants or agreements. They include institutions of higher learning, nonprofit organizations, and State, county, or local governments. The growing value of agreements and diversity of partners indicates a substantial demand for the science produced and delivered through collaboration.
