New resources have been added to the SBB:

• A new Data Snapshot draws on national arrest estimates to document declines in juvenile arrests through 2019.
• A new FAQ showing high school dropout rates by state has been added to the education section under the Population Characteristics.
• A new Data Snapshot draws on data from the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System to document the trends and characteristics of dating violence reported by high school students.
• Two new FAQs based on the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System about suicide-related behaviors reported by high school students have been added to the suicide section under Juveniles as Victims.
• A new Data Snapshot draws on data from the Center for Disease Control's Fatal Injury Reports to document the characteristics and trends of youth victims of suicide and homicide.

The following SBB resources have recently been updated:

• FAQs describing the annual number of juvenile arrests, juvenile arrest rates, customizable arrest tables, and age-specific arrest rates found in the Law Enforcement and Juvenile Crime section have been updated to include data through 2019.
• FAQs describing juvenile arrest rates by offense and race in the Racial and Ethnic Fairness section have been updated to include 2019 data.
• Easy Access to the FBI's Supplementary Homicide Reports and FAQs about juvenile homicide victims and known juvenile homicide offenders have been updated to include data through 2019.
• Easy Access to Juvenile Populations has been updated to include 2019 data.
• FAQs about the age, sex, race/ethnicity of the youth population, race/ethnicity profiles by state, and FAQs about the Hispanic juvenile population have been updated to include data through 2019.
• FAQs describing the living arrangements of children have been updated to include 2019 data.
• FAQs about teen mothers have been updated to include 2018 data.
• State high school graduation rates have been updated to include data for the 2017-2018 school year.

Data analysis and dissemination tools available through the Statistical Briefing Book give users quick and easy access to detailed statistics on a variety of juvenile justice topics. These tools allow users to create national, state, and county tables on juvenile populations, arrests, court cases, and custody populations.
