The Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) complies with all the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Privacy Act. To this end, the Chief Administrative Officer and Secretary of the Commission is charged with the responsibility to develop policies and procedures for implementing FOIA and the Privacy Act and to coordinate receipt, distribution and responses to FOIA inquiries. PRC records are limited to Commission issues. With some exceptions, the Commission may charge duplication, search, and review fees for FOIA record requests.

The Commission maintains a Public Reading Room for users to view documents during regular business hours. Additionally, from this page you may use "Dockets Search" above to search or review the final opinions, orders, rulemakings and other document materials issued and received by the Commission in its proceedings.

If you have questions pertaining to the FOIA, Privacy Act, and PRC, or you wish to check on the status of a pending inquiry, contact the Secretary of the Commission at the above address.

Disputes between FOIA requesters and the Commission are resolved by the FOIA Public Liaison, Gail Adams at Gail.Adams@prc.gov or 202-789-6800.
