The Alabama Department of Corrections now has a toll free telephone number for prospective employees to dial in order to obtain job information. The number to call is 1-866-293-7799. The Alabama Department of Corrections "Hotline Connection" will supply information regarding employment applications, testing procedures and locations, job qualifications, salary, benefit information.
New Alabama Criminal Justice Training Center
The new training center is a 12,072 square feet, six building complex, complete with two academic buildings. The ADOC academic building is equipped with three classrooms, interactive SMART boards, administrative offices, and a firearms vault. The ADOC dormitory is 33,803 square feet, with 75 sleeping units. A shared dining hall seats 200, and the fitness center is almost 5,000 sq. ft.
