ALABAMA

Absentee voting (mail and in-person) is available by request for voters unable to vote on Election Day for a specific reason. Any qualified voter who is concerned about COVID-19 may vote absentee in the November general election.

  • The deadline to request an absentee ballot is October 29.
  • The deadline to return an absentee ballot in-person is November 2.
  • The deadline to return an absentee ballot by mail is Election Day (postmarked by November 2).

Early voting and in-person absentee voting are available prior to Election Day, no reason required.

  • Early voting and in-person absentee voting takes place October 19 through Election Day at designated locations.

Absentee voting by-mail and electronic transmission are available by request, no reason required.

  • The deadline to request a mail absentee ballot is October 24. A mail absentee ballot must be returned by November 13 (postmarked by Election Day).
  • The deadline to request an electronic transmission absentee ballot is November 2. The electronic transmission ballot must be returned by Election Day.

ARIZONA

Early voting is available prior to Election Day, no reason required.

  • Early voting takes place October 7 - 30 at county election offices or other designated locations.

Voting by-mail is available by request, no reason required.

  • The deadline to request a mail ballot is October 23.
  • The deadline to return a mail ballot is Election Day.  
     

ARKANSAS

Early voting is available prior to Election Day, no reason required.

  • Early voting takes place October 19 - November 2 at the County Clerk’s office or other designated locations.

Absentee voting (mail and in-person) is available by request, for a specific reason. Any qualified voter who is concerned about COVID-19 may vote absentee in the November general election.

  • The deadline to request an absentee ballot is October 27 (in-person request deadline is November 2nd).

All registered voters receive a ballot by mail for the November 3rd, 2020 General Election.

FLORIDA

  • Early voting takes place October 24 – 31 at designated locations (additional days may be available depending on the county).

Vote-by-Mail is available by request, no reason required.

  • The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed to a voter is October 24.
  • Voters may continue to request a vote-by-mail ballot for personal delivery before 7 p.m. on Election Day, and via designee (with additional requirements) on election day or up to 9 days prior to the day of an election.
  • The deadline to return a vote-by-mail ballot is 7 p.m. on Election Day.

  • Early voting takes place October 26 – November 2 at designated early voting centers.

Mail-in voting is available for all voters prior to and through Election Day (no reason required). Note: Mail-in ballot applications will be sent to all registered voters who have not already requested a ballot for the 2020 General Election.

  • The deadline to request a mailed or downloadable ballot is October 20.
  • The deadline to request a mail-in ballot in-person at a local board of elections office is 8 pm on Election Day.
  • The deadline to return a mail-in ballot is 8 pm on Election Day (if returned by mail, postmarked by 8 pm on Election Day and received by 10 am on November 13).

MASSACHUSETTS

MISSISSIPPI

Absentee voting (mail and in-person) is available by request for voters unable to vote on Election Day for a specific reason.

  • The deadline to vote absentee in-person at the Circuit Clerk’s office is October 31.
  • There is no specific deadline to request a mail absentee ballot.
  • The deadline to return an absentee ballot is November 10th, postmarked on/before the date of the election.

MISSOURI

Absentee voting (mail and in-person) is available by request for voters unable to vote on Election Day for a specific reason. Any qualified voter who is considered at risk for COVID-19 may vote absentee in the November general election.

  • Mail in or faxed absentee ballot requests must be received by the election authority no later than the 5:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday prior to any election which is October 21. The ballot must be returned by Election Day.
  • Voters can vote by absentee in the office of the local election authority until 5:00 p.m. the night before the election which is November 2.
