Preparedness and Technology Curriculum

  • Most of the Preparedness and Technology courses are conducted at the local and State level.
  • The current Preparedness and Technology menu of resident courses focuses on radiological hazards, terrorism,
and hazardous materials. Resident courses include those specific to the Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) program and those generic to any radiological hazard. The preparedness resident courses include emergency planning for radiological incidents, as well as skill and exercise-based courses for gathering and analyzing radiological data.
  • Emergency management training for schools can be found under the Mitigation Curriculum.
