Pacific Islands Division and Staff

Located in Honolulu, HI, the Pacific Islands Division places a major focus on research, education, and training concerning cross-cultural factors affecting the expression, assessment, and treatment of PTSD among ethnic minorities, particularly Pacific Islander and Asian Americans. The Division actively seeks to collaborate with universities, the Department of Defense, research groups, and other organizations concerning PTSD and its related disorders. The Division continues to focus on evaluating the feasibility and clinical efficacy of different telehealth treatments.

Read about the Center's education initiatives and research programs taking place across all Divisions.

National Center faculty is active in training programs at both the predoctoral and postdoctoral levels. See Careers for internship and fellowship opportunities that are offered at each Division site.
