2020 Treasury Fiscal Service U.S. Debit Card & Digital Pay Forum
On the afternoon of November 10, 2020, Fiscal Service held the U.S. Debit Card & Digital Pay Forum in an online format. During the virtual forum, participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in the electronic payments space, plus recent enhancements to our card program and take advantage of networking with peers to learn best practices.
Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP) Webinar Series
The Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP), a cooperative undertaking of the Treasury, GAO, and the CFO community held a JFMIP Webinar Series on October 21, 2020 from 12:30-5:30 pm.
This half-day webinar event provided a forum for those in the federal financial management community to learn about current issues, exchange knowledge, and share experiences in improving financial management operations and policies.
The Scantlebury award was presented during the October 21 webinar series.
GFMCLivesm Webinar Event
Treasury's Bureau of the Fiscal Service held the GFMCLivesm webinar event on August 24, 2020 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
GFMCLivesm 2020 was a virtual webinar offered free of charge in place of the 2020 Government Financial Management Conference (GFMC). Attendees learned about the Future of Federal Financial Management, the Financial Management (FM) Quality Service Management Office (QSMO), and the new Treasury Financial Management (TFX) Experience.

AI Emerging Technology Day
Date: Thursday, August 6, 2020, 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. ET
The Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Office of Financial Innovation and Transformation, in partnership with ACT-IAC Emerging Technology Community of Interest (COI), presented Emerging Technology Day. This was a half day virtual event where industry, academia and government experts discussed the impact artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) is having on the financial sector. They also showcased examples of projects happening in real-time with insights on how to get started and how to get results.

2019 Government Financial Management Conference (GFMC)

This annual training event covered the latest developments in federal financial management practices, systems and operations.
All educational training sessions were led by federal financial management experts from the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Office of Management and Budget, Federal Reserve Bank, and selected partners and agents.
The conference was held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. Attendees earned up to 21 continuing professional education (CPE) credits.

Fiscal Service Advisory Council Payments Forum 2019
Date: June 4-5, 2019 | Location: Social Security Administration, Woodlawn, MD
This forum provides a unique opportunity for agencies to hear first-hand updates about federal government payment products, services, and initiatives.
Participation was open to all federal agencies. Multiple representatives from each federal program agency attended. But, voting on Council initiatives was limited to one vote for each agency processing site responsible for submitting payments to the Fiscal Service.
2019 Joint Financial Management Improvement Program Conference
The 2019 Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP) conference was held May 20, 2019 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.
This one-day training event is a cooperative undertaking of the Treasury, GAO, OMB and OPM. Participants learned about the latest developments and improvements in federal financial management practices, systems, and operations from a selection of up to 16 educational sessions.
Agency Partnership Engagement on Payment Integrity April 10-11, 2019
The Bureau of the Fiscal Service hosted an Agency Partnership Engagement on Payment Integrity on April 10-11, 2019, onsite at the Philadelphia Financial Center in Northeast Philadelphia.
This event provided a unique opportunity for agencies to share their knowledge and expertise and proactively engage in discussions on payment integrity across the Government.

This forum gave attendees the opportunity to learn how the Fiscal Service can help identify, prevent, collect and resolve agency receivables.
The Symposium was scheduled for May 23 and 24, 2018, at the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Conference Center in Washington DC and provided federal program agencies the opportunity to create and strengthen connections with other federal agencies and Treasury as we work together to identify and prevent improper payments, improve receivables management, and increase debt collections.

EFTPS Industry Day: Learning Together

EFTPS Industry Day: Learning Together offered an insider's look into the US Treasury's vision for a world-class Electronic Federal Tax Payment collection system.
This event spotlighted speakers from the Treasury and provided the platform for an energetic dialogue in which invited attendees can influence the future of payment technologies by sharing best practices.
