The mission of the Disability Law Center of Alaska is to provide protection and advocacy services to Alaskans with disabilities, through legal representation, education and strategic advocacy.

Although DLC is designated under federal law as the State of Alaska’s Protection & Advocacy (P&A) agency, we are not affiliated with the Social Security Administration or any other Federal or State Government agency.  (more...) 
  

If you are current or former Social Security Beneficiary and/or a former client of Peggy Jo Whittington or Iliamna Services or IS, Inc. you may be entitled to money from a class action settlement. 
 

[Deadline Dec. 31, 2012]  A class action is a lawsuit brought by one or more people on behalf of a large group of others who have a common interest. If you received money from Social Security through the representative payee listed above, you might be part of the class and be eligible to receive settlement money.
