Too often, veterans encounter red tape when trying to access the benefits they have earned. To assist veterans and their families as they navigate bureaucratic government agencies, I have designated staff, in addition to my regular caseworkers, who specialize in working with the Department of Veterans Affairs and other relevant agencies.
While I cannot override the decisions made by a federal agency, my staff and I can often intervene to answer questions, find solutions or just get through to the right bureaucrats. We can also assist in acquiring copies of military records and applying for medals, awards or decorations earned while in the service.
Please note that for assistance, you will need to complete and mail a Privacy Release form to our office in Tulsa.
