SSERVI and LEAG, in partnership, are pleased to announce the “Lunar Science for Landed Missions Workshop,” January 10-12, 2018, at NASA Ames Research Center. This workshop is intended to produce a set of priority targets for near-term landed missions on the Moon, primarily, but not exclusively, from commercial exploration firms interested in pursuing ventures on the Moon. Abstracts are solicited describing target areas on the Moon for near-term in-situ science, network science, and sample return missions. Abstracts should be up to one page in length and are intended to stimulate discussion about specific targets. This workshop will result in a report to be presented to NASA Headquarters as an initial community consensus of priority landed targets, with the potential of future solicitations for science-focused payloads at such target sites.

Lunch Information
With the workshop program fairly packed, we are limited in our time for lunch. There are a few locations near NASA Ames, but we have also worked with our onsite catering team to make lunch available at the conference facility. On January 10th, we will have a pasta buffet, and on January 11th we will have a taco bar. Please use this link to order your lunches (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/solar-science-tickets-41402242221). You can also order coffee through this portal or pay for coffee when you arrive at the conference facility. Please order your lunches by COB January 8th to give the caterers time for planning.

Poster Information
The space available for poster displays is 48” x 48”. The poster area will be open during all normal meeting hours, so authors may install their poster anytime after 7:00 a.m. on January 10. Posters should be removed on the last day of the meeting. Authors are required to be at their posters during at least one poster session (sign up sheets will be provided at check-in). Poster authors are also encouraged to bring several press-ready copies of their abstract for the media.
