The Tribal Access Portal (TAP) is an electronic system that provides limited background information of prospective applicants or current tribal employees to authorized tribal regulators. The information provides gaming tribes the ability to verify any job applicant’s past encounters and/or employment history with other tribes. Also, FBI finger print submissions by the tribes can be validated after 24 hours, in a secure, web-based, user-friendly environment. Tribes with authorized access credentials can access the TAP at https://tap.nigc.gov. The TAP is available 24 hours, seven days a week.
