The Advisory Committee for the Sustained National Climate Assessment will provide advice on sustained assessment activities and products, including engagement of stakeholders. The Committee will be established under the Department of Commerce in 2015 and supported through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Solicitation for Membership Nominations
The Committee will consist of fifteen (15) non-Federal members. The Committee's membership is required to be balanced and take into account: viewpoints represented, functions to be performed, the interests of geographic regions of the country, and the diverse sectors of U.S. society. Members will include a balanced representation of experts in physical and social sciences, communication, education, and other topics reflecting the full scope of issues relevant to the sustained National Climate Assessment process.
