NINR’s mission is to promote and improve the health of individuals, families, and communities. The purpose of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Technology Transfer Research (STTR) Program is to provide technical and financial support for the development of new and innovative products and services in support of this mission. One objective of the SBIR/STTR program is to increase private sector commercialization of innovations derived from federally supported research and development.
