The Office of Communications and Congressional Affairs (OCCA) serves as the liaison with congressional staff and members of Congress to establish relationships critical to DCSA, coordinating with DoD Legislative Affairs and the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (DUSDI) on congressional issues.

Constituent Inquiries

In addition to responding to inquiries related to DCSA operations and programs, OCCA assists congressional offices in determining the status of a personnel or facility security clearance for their constituents. Inquiries may be sent as faxes, telephone inquiries, or email directly from congressional district and personal offices.
