Federal law requires ASC members to be appointed by the heads of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the National Credit Union Administration, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
