Practicing Virtually Before the CBCA


On July 23, the CBCA hosted five panel discussions by video to provide practitioners information about practicing virtually before the CBCA. Discussion topics included the CBCA's virtual protocol, the future of virtual practice at the CBCA, participating effectively in virtual proceedings, lessons learned from virtual proceedings, and running a dynamic virtual law clerk program. Over 160 people watched the panel discussions. The panelists included CBCA judges, a CBCA attorney, and CBCA law clerks. Virtual Summer Law Clerks

CBCA Employees and Interns on the Move


Ms. Ann Willet, a fall 2019 law clerk with the Board, is finishing her law degree this year at the George Washington University Law School in the Government Procurement Law Program. Ms. Willet recently was awarded the Murray J. Schooner Scholarship for Government Procurement Law which honors Murray J. Schooner, a well-known figure in the government contracting community.


Ms. Jennifer Sandusky recently joined the Board as a full-time Attorney Adviser. Ms. Sandusky completed the L.L.M. program in Government Procurement Law at the George Washington University Law School early this year and was honored with GW's 2019 Coalition for Government Procurement Scholarship.


Ms. Amanda DeLaPerriere, a former law clerk with the Board, is finishing her law degree this year at the George Washington University Law School in the Government Procurement Law Program. Ms. DeLaPerriere was awarded the Honorable Ruth C. Burg Scholarship for Government Procurement Law which honors Judge Ruth Burg, a champion of diversity and inclusion in the government contracting community.
