NEW DEADLINE! SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY, MAY 22nd

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, there are a number of changes to the 2020 Art Competition and this year’s entries must be electronically submitted.  Please click here for information on how to submit your entries.

The Annual Congressional Art Competition provides Members of Congress with the unique opportunity to showcase the artistic creativity and talent of high school students from across the United States. As your Congressman from the 11th District of Virginia, it is my pleasure to host this competition for residents of this district and to show my support for the fine arts.

This competition is open to all high school students who are residents of the 11th Congressional District regardless of where they attend school - public, private and home-schooled students are invited to participate, and I encourage all who are interested to submit an entry. Due to space limitations, students may submit up to two (2) pieces of art.
