The SAMHDA information system is hosted in the SAMHSA IT environment and is compliant with the standards defined by the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). SAMHDA has undergone certification and accreditation (C&A) and has been issued an Authority to Operate (ATO) by the SAMHSA Chief Information Officer (CIO).
SAMHDA operates a public web portal available via the Internet that allows interested persons to review and download public-use and restricted-use data files and documentation.
