Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO)
FPM and the FHEO Economic Opportunity Division work together in the community. FPM is the primary contact with local officials and stakeholders. Regional and field offices lead outreach efforts to promote fair housing, assist in the implementation, conduct program training and technical assistance, coordinate customer services with key stakeholders and recipients and provide notice of the availability of HUD-funded employment and contracting opportunities.

Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships
FPM ensures that faith-based and community organizations have access to opportunities by promoting Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships initiative activities across the country. Regional and field offices coordinate customer service with local officials, facilitate outreach efforts and offer training sessions for faith-based and neighborhood partnerships. To provide the widest array of resources and information, FPM also identifies additional faith-based, community, business and governmental partners to engage in the initiatives.

Housing
FPM ensures that regional and field offices provide the most effective and efficient services to HUD's customers and partners, including housing counseling agencies, regional and local housing partners, lenders, congressional representatives, local officials and community stakeholders. Regional and field offices provide information on housing counseling as well as Single and Multifamily programs and activities.

International and Philanthropic Innovation (IPI)
FPM develops, implements, partners with and promotes philanthropic activities in local communities. Regional and field offices identify philanthropic organizations for engagement and share issues and events critical for coordinated relationships with funders. FPM strives to position HUD as a hub for innovation by using lessons learned and best practices from our philanthropic and international partners and seeding networks and collaborations across all levels of government. FPM aligns ideas, investments and resources from our public/private partnerships, nonprofit partners and international counterparts.

Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes
FPM promotes safe and healthy homes in communities and implements Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes programs and priorities to protect children and their families from health and safety hazards. Regional and field offices facilitate awareness and provide training opportunities on healthy homes, lead hazard evaluation and control to potential new partners for training opportunities.

Public and Indian Housing (PIH)
Regional and field offices work with elected officials, local appointing officials and other community stakeholders to ensure long-term sustainable performance of public housing agencies. FPM assists troubled and substandard public housing agencies, addresses matters of financial management and government assessment and other aspects of public housing management oversight.
