The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) has developed an educational webpage, Expansion of the Dietary Reference Intake Model: Learning from Sodium and Potassium, to follow-up on the 2019 Dietary Reference Intakes for Sodium and Potassium report. The new webpage provides an overview of the expanded DRI model and includes 5 short videos emphasizing the key concepts. The new webpage was developed for nutrition and public health professionals and the general public. The U.S. and Canadian governments jointly fund Dietary Reference Intake-related activities.
