This Program Instruction (PI) provides 1) information to state, territory, and tribal Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Lead Agencies regarding the distribution of CCDF disaster relief funds, and 2) guidance on allowable activities, how to apply, notice of federal interest, obligating and expending of funds, reporting requirements, grantee monitoring, and other requirements.  ACF previously issued Program Instruction (PI) CCDF-ACF-PI-2019-06 on October 9, 2019, which provided information to eligible CCDF Lead Agencies on how to apply for the first phase of CCDF disaster relief funding for eligible disaster declarations made on or before June 12, 2019. This new PI (CCDF-ACF-PI-2020-01) provides information about how eligible CCDF Lead Agencies may apply for funding available in phase two for eligible disaster declarations made between June 13, 2019, and December 31, 2019. It also expands the list of eligible tribal Lead Agencies that may apply for phase one funding.
