Direct Premium Remittance System (DPRS)

The DPRS system provides an enrollment, billing, and collection process for Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) for eligible separated Federal employees, former spouses of Federal employees, dependents of Federal employees, direct pay annuitants, and dependents of annuitants.

DPRS Open Season Information

The 2016 Federal Employees Benefit Program (FEHB) Open Season is Monday November 14, 2016 through Monday December 12, 2016.

Please note: We will no longer be providing customized Open Season Booklets.

You can find rate information for 2017 under our Publications page on this website.

OPM is no longer producing the Guide to Federal Benefits (Guide) beginning with the 2016 benefit year. This will include both the printed and online versions of the Guide. OPM has determined that it is no longer cost effective to produce the Guide and due to the implementation of the Going Green Initiative in 2010, an increasing number of agencies are turning toward online resources for information about the federal benefits programs instead of ordering printed copies of the Guide.

Rate and Plan Information

Federal Healthcare benefits can help you and your family meet your health care needs. Federal employees, retirees and their survivors enjoy the widest selection of health plans in the country. For more information in regards to healthcare plans and rates, please see the documentation listed under the Publications tab

Making Payments by Check

If you send us a check, it will be converted into an electronic funds transfer (EFT). This means we will copy your check and use the account information on it to electronically debit your account for the amount of the check. The debit from your account will usually occur within 24 hours, and will be shown on your regular account statement.

You will not receive your original check back. We will destroy your original check, but we will keep the copy of it. If the EFT cannot be processed for technical reasons, you authorize us to process the copy in place of your original check. If the EFT cannot be completed because of insufficient funds, we may try to make the transfer up to 2 times.
