Administrative relief for applicants and recipients affected by COVID-19

Service Implementation of OMB M-20-26 Guidance, effective June 18, 2020

This guidance implements extended administrative relief for Service recipients as authorized by OMB Memorandum M-20-26, “Extension of Administrative Relief for Recipients and Applicants of Federal Financial Assistance Directly Impacted by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) due to Loss of Operations”.  OMB has extended two previous areas of flexibility and rescinded now expired memorandums M-20-17 and M-20-20.

Service Implementation of OMB M-20-17 Guidance, effective March 19, 2020

This guidance implements specific administrative relief for Service applicants and recipients as authorized by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Memorandum M-20-17, "Administrative Relief for Recipients and Applicants of Federal Financial Assistance Directly Impacted by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) due to Loss of Operations" dated March 19, 2020.  OMB has provided short-term relief of certain Title 2 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) requirements without compromising accountability.  This guidance supplements the OMB guidance.
