Education and Human Resources Advisory Committee

**NSF's Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR) announces a nationwide search to fill the position of Division Director, Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE). For more information on this opportunity, please see the Dear Colleague Letter available on the NSF website.**

The role of the Advisory Committee for the Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR) is to provide advice, guidance, recommendations, and oversight concerning NSF's programs for education and human resource development. This includes effective and efficient strategies for assessing the condition of science, technology, engineering and mathematics education in the U.S., evaluating program results, achieving overall program balance, and long-term strategic planning.

The Advisory Committee membership consists of 20-25 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education experts. Advisory Committee meetings are held in the spring and fall each year

NSF accepts recommendations for membership. Recommendations should consist of the name of the submitting individual, the organization or the affiliation providing the member nomination, the name of the recommended individual, the recommended individual's curriculum vita, an expression of the individual's interest in serving, and the following recommended individual's contact information: employment address, telephone number, FAX number, and email address. Self-recommendations are accepted. Please send your nomination materials to Dr. Nafeesa Owens at ehr_ac@nsf.gov.

Although NSF welcomes all recommendations, the Agency will not be able to acknowledge or respond to each person who contacts NSF or has been recommended. NSF will keep recommendations active for 12 months from the date of receipt.
