Webinar on COVID-19 and Shared Living Spaces Available to View

Meeting the needs of vulnerable populations in congregate care settings, particularly domestic violence shelters and group homes for homeless youth, can be a masterclass in resourcefulness and thoughtful planning. On May 28, the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) hosted a webinar exploring common themes and proposing real world solutions to challenges that shelter advocates and youth serving professionals have encountered since the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) public health emergency.

Information and published resources from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), COVID-19 Guidance for Shared or Congregate Housing were discussed to support practitioners in their ongoing efforts to plan for and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in shared and congregate housing. Because the webinar registrations quickly reached capacity, many who wished to attend were unable to.

The webinar recording is available here. Once you click on the link, AdobeConnect will open and the recording will begin playing. Be sure to have the volume on and turned up.
