Performance Reports and Evaluations

The present Federal interest in "managing for results" is driven in large part by the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993, or GPRA. This Act requires Federal agencies to develop strategic plans, performance measures, annual performance plans, and performance reporting. FSA is "managing for results" and taking strides toward greater accountability in an effort to improve customer service, improve program delivery systems, and best "tell our story" to OMB, Congress, and the American public.

This section of our Website is devoted to performance reporting and independent performance evaluations. By ensuring the validity of our performance data, we are better able to uncover programmatic or institutional weaknesses. FSA is moving toward greater transparency and accountability by reporting our accomplishments on a quarterly and annual basis.
