These materials were developed by the Center for Food Security and Public Health in collaboration with USDA APHIS Animal Care to provide information about licensing and regulatory requirements for commercial guinea pig, hamster, or rabbit dealers.

The materials describe the prelicensing process and requirements for maintaining a license under the Animal Welfare Act (AWA) and regulations and best practices in animal care and husbandry for commercial facilities.

The materials consist of a series of PowerPoint presentations with speaker notes.
