ASPR Year in Review 2018

A Year of Saving Lives and Protecting Americans from 21st Century Health Threats

The mission of the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) is to save lives and protect Americans from 21st century health security threats.

On behalf of HHS, ASPR led innovative changes over the past year to save lives and protect Americans from modern health security threats, focusing on four priorities: providing strong leadership; building a Regional Disaster Health Response System; enhancing public health security capabilities; and advancing an innovative medical countermeasure enterprise.

We look forward to working with long-standing and new partners to build readiness and response capabilities against the very serious threats our nation faces.

Advancing Readiness Strengthening Response

Medical Innovation Cultivating Connections
