HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response

The ICC serves as the focal point for the integration of health intelligence, information analysis, and preparedness plans to guide the strategic direction of ASPR and the Department of Health and Human Services for public health and medical preparedness and response. ICC collects, analyzes and disseminates information to provide situational awareness, inform strategy, policy, plans, and requirements recommendations for operational response. ICC’s four functional components ensure the maintenance of core HHS functions and enable ASPR to achieve optimal readiness and response capability.
