WAPA’s transmission lines cross forests, wetlands, grasslands and deserts in 15 states. Our environmental policy establishes WAPA’s commitment to protecting these sensitive ecosystems by preventing, controlling and abating environmental pollution and, when possible, enhancing the environment.
Through WAPA’s Environmental Management System, the environmental program addresses pollution prevention, materials management and environmental planning and protection.
