Where to Begin

Are you a new employee? Have you experienced a qualifying life event? Or perhaps you’re thinking about signing up for an FSA during Open Season.

Simply select which enrollment option fits your circumstances.

New Hire
Enroll within 60 days of your start date — and prior to October 1 — of any benefit period.

Qualifying Life Event
Enroll or change your FSA election due to a qualifying event (PDF) as defined by the IRS.

Belated Enrollment
Enroll within 30 days following Open Season if unable to enroll during Open Season for reasons outside of your control.

Open Season
Enroll or reenroll in FSAFEDS during Open Season each year (mid-November to mid-December).
