With our help, NIH has a secure, reliable, and fast way to share large amounts of information; access to robust computing resources for analyzing data; and the ability to share data and collaborate.

Offerings

Supercomputing (Biowulf)

NIH’s supercomputer Biowulf provides investigators with a world-class, high-performance computing (HPC) environment for advancing biomedical science and enabling innovations in scientific research.

STRIDES

The Science and Technology Research Infrastructure for Discovery, Experimentation, and Sustainability (STRIDES) Initiative addresses the problems of data storage and accessibility by harnessing the power of the commercial cloud in support of biomedical research.

Data Transfer & Management for Researchers

Move, sync, and share large amounts of data within NIH and with other institutions using Globus.

Desktop & Web-Based Applications for Researchers

Access tools for genomics, molecular and structural biology, mathematical analysis, image analysis, and other research areas through HPC Sciware and HPCweb.

High-Bandwidth Data Transfer for Researchers

Science DMZ is a scientific network “fast lane” that prioritizes and increases the speed of sending science data sets at NIH with added layers of security.
