NIH Provides Cyber Safety Resources for Children and Families

The internet is an excellent way for children to learn, connect with friends, and have fun, but it can also be a confusing and overwhelming place at times. From cyberbullying to phishing scams, kids need to understand how to navigate the risks they face when they spend time online.

As part of NIH’s presence at the 2020 USA Science and Engineering Festival, an annual STEM expo held in Washington, DC, the NIH Cyber Safety Awareness Campaign developed a series of materials to help keep young people safe online. This year’s in-person expo was postponed in compliance with social distancing measures, but the following materials are still available online for parents to print or access digitally with their children:
