NIH Campus
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus is located in Bethesda, a suburban neighborhood of Montgomery County, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. NIH is made up of 27 Institutes and Centers, each with a specific research agenda, often focusing on particular diseases or body systems.
Shady Grove
The NCI at Shady Grove campus is located in Rockville, Maryland. This new campus is approximately 10 miles north of the NIH main campus in Bethesda.
NCI at Frederick
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) at Frederick is located within the city of Frederick, Maryland, approximately 36 miles north of the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland.
