The Congressional Budget Act of 1974 requires the Chairmen of the House and Senate Budget Committees to provide members of Congress with regular updates on the budgetary effects of congressional action.  Chairman Enzi fulfills this requirement through filings in the Congressional Record that compare current-law levels of spending and revenues to those assumed in the budget resolution.
