Christina senior secretary named Delaware's first Educational Support Professional of the Year

A senior administrative secretary from Christina School District’s Jennie E. Smith Elementary School is the state’s first Delaware Educational Support Professional of the Year.

Child and Adult Care Food Program offers meal reimbursement

Sponsors can receive reimbursement for meals served at qualifying child care centers, adult day care centers, emergency shelters, family day care homes and afterschool programs as part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

Provide feedback on Delaware Ed-Flex application

DDOE is applying to the U.S. Department of Education for waivers of certain federal grant requirements. This application process is called Ed-Flex and is made available to states through the Education Flexibility Partnership Act of 1999, as evidenced by the more-recent Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Ed-Flex provides states, districts and charter schools with increased flexibility in implementing federal education programs.
