How to Play
Step 1: Click on the orange button to start voting.
Step 2: You will be prompted to enter your name and email address. Then click the green button to continue.
Step 3: On the next screen, you will see two options of food items. Click on the orange “Vote” button for the one you want to vote for.
You will be presented with more options until you finish voting for all the matches for that round. Here’s a brief explanation of each of the terms you will see on this screen.
The title at the top will display what round you’re currently voting for.
The stats counter below it displays the current match that you’re voting on out of the total amount of matches available for the current round.
The orange “Vote” buttons are available beneath each food item option. Click on the one that you want to vote for!
Help, I’m having trouble
Q: The page is blank; I don’t see the orange voting button.
A: Click here to check if JavaScript is enabled in your web browser. If it is disabled, follow the directions to enable it. If you use an ad blocker extension on your web browser, be sure to disable it, then refresh this page. Also, make sure you’re not using incognito or private browsing modes as this could affect the brackets system. If you’re using the outdated Internet Explorer browser, please upgrade to a different browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox.
Q: I get an error saying I already voted.
A: You’re allowed to vote once per match. For example, Round 1 has 32 matches; you can vote once for each of those 32 matches. Once you finish a round, you must wait for the next round to start before you can vote again. See the timetable to see when each round begins and ends.

Preliminaries: Oct. 30, 2020, 12 a.m. – Nov. 5, 2020, 2 p.m.
Round 1: Nov. 6, 2020, 12 a.m. – Nov. 12, 2020, 2 p.m.
Round 2: Nov. 13, 2020, 12 a.m. – Nov. 19, 2020, 2 p.m.
Round 3: Nov. 20, 2020, 12 a.m. – Nov. 26, 2020, 2 p.m.
Quarterfinals: Nov. 27, 2020, 12 a.m. – Dec. 3, 2020, 2 p.m.
Semifinals: Dec. 4, 2020, 12 a.m. – Dec. 10, 2020, 2 p.m.
Finals: Dec. 11, 2020, 12 a.m. – Dec. 17, 2020, 2 p.m.
Rules
No purchase necessary. Must be 18+ years old to enter. Contest is valid to Hawaii residents or military stationed in Hawaii only. Hawaii I.D. and proof of residency required. One entry per user per week accepted until December 17, 2020, 2 PM HST. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents will void all entries by you. Employees (and their immediate families) of Genki Sushi Hawaii or Oahu Publications, Inc. and all participating sponsors are not eligible. Weekly prize awarded every week of the promotion: $50 Genki Sushi gift certificate. Grand prize awarded at the end of the promotion: $500 Genki Sushi gift certificate. Winner will be responsible for all taxes applicable to the total value of the prize(s) received. Prize(s) are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash and must not be used for resale. If the winner has any issue with the prize or is not able to redeem the prize(s) as specified they must forfeit the prize and another winner will be drawn. Changes or extensions will not be made. Winner will refer to the gift certificate for complete details, terms and restrictions. Winner authorizes Genki Sushi Hawaii and Oahu Publications, Inc. to use their name and likeness for promotion at no additional compensation. Contest entrants authorize Oahu Publications, Inc. use of email address for future specials and promotions. The winner will be contacted. No phone calls please.
