We all know being together is what the holidays are all about. But COVID-19 spreads easily when people gather indoors. Protecting loved ones with #HealthyTexas steps is a great way to show how much you care this holiday season.
#HealthyTexas holidays:
❄️Wear a mask around others indoors
❄️Stay 6 feet apart...
❄️Avoid gatherings with people outside your home
❄️Stay home when you are sick
❄️Gather outdoors or open windows when you can
❄️Wash hands often, don't share objects

Texas Department of State Health Services is sharing a COVID-19 Update.
#COVID19TX Update: Hospitalizations in many areas remain dangerously high. New cases are surging and fatalities are rising.
In the last 7 days Texas averaged:
⬆️11,755 new cases a day
⬆️8,948 current hospitalizations...
⬆️189 new fatalities reported a day
Wearing masks and taking #HealthyTexas steps in public places is only half the battle. #COVID19 can spread quickly when gathering with people you don't live with, especially if people don't wear masks and take other prevention steps while gathering indoors and outdoors.
Together for a #HealthyTexas:
🏡Stay home when you can
😷#MaskUpTexas, to protect yourself and others
↔️Stay 6 feet apart
🤒Stay home if sick
🦠Avoid large and risky gatherings
🙌Wash your hands often
🧼Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces
👉Don't touch your face with unwashed hands
