Friends, this opportunity is priceless. Apply or notify someone in your circle that can benefit from it. 3 young leaders were selected from Nigeria last year ou...t of 22 selected globally and your friend was privileged to be one of them. It can be you or another friend, who is a young peacebuilder, this year. I can't even begin to name the inspiring young minds and leaders I had the opportunity of connecting with from around the world.

I never thought I could meet or converse so closely with His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, who I had read about several years ago as a global peace and Human Rights icon last year. But God made it possible through the United States Institute of Peace. His Holiness answered my questions on resilience, education, leadership, and peace building among others experientially. I only forgot to ask him if he learnt Kung fu since most monks I see in movies are Kung fu experts. LOL. He is so humble and accommodating. He even served my plate and some others'.

I learnt so much in the fellowship and participated in trainings, sport, group and cultural dances. My Nigerian friends (Naomi Ekpoki and Damilola Babatunde )and I also gave a special Nigerian rendition. We enjoyed renditions from other countries too.
