Meet our featured counselor of the week, Arlene Rivero Carr!
“I consider it a privilege and a joy to work with college students as this is such an important time of growth, discovery and resilience. As staff member with Counseling and Testing Services since 2010, my passions also include training and supervision of practicum students, emphasizing multicultural competence, personal growth and providing spaces of safety and exploration in the counseling room. I enjoy working with people from varying backgrounds, identities and abilities and consider myself a generalist. I also serve as a ¼ time faculty member for the psychology department in vocational counseling and vocational counseling is also an area of work that is fulfilling.”
